NETX 1100T COMPRESSOR is a unit designed for telecommunication operators and business/department users leasing digital channels. It reduces digital line leasing costs and increases their bitrates while maintaining the quality of the offered services. The Voice over Packet technology and voice compression and silence detection algorithms support transmission of up to 128 voice channels in one 2Mbit/s trunk. Dynamic switching of a codec to the G.711 standard for fax and modem transmission supports the interoperability with faxes and modems. A single unit supports compression of up to 256 telephone channels. The compressed channels may be transmitted through leased lines, copper wires and LAN Ethernet network. The integrated cross-connect feature supports direct connection connecting of up to 40 E1 trunks operating in a fractional PCM mode and there is no need to separate and group channels in advance. The unit is highly reliable as backup lines may be used in case of the main line failure.
